London's only 5 star suite hotel

tmd was commissioned to undertake a pre-acquisition survey of the Conrad Hotel
(formerly known as the Chelsea Harbour Hotel) and to appraise possible development potential on site.

The hotel was constructed during 1988/89 and was London's only 5 star, all suite, hotel.

The premises comprised 160 suites over eight floors plus six penthouse suites. In addition, there were 14 separate conference/banqueting suites, a health club, bar and restaurant.

In addition, in the role of Lead Consultant, tmd undertook investigations into the likely Planning and structural constraints, as well as the suitability of the existing services infrastructure with regard to the proposed conversion of the 160 suites into
between 200 and 240 units.
